Monsieur, launched in 2016, is Chanel’s first watch specifically designed for men, equipped with a self-developed core movement helped by independent watch brand RomainGauthier (brand equity).
At Baselworld 2019, Chanel will launch the new MonsieurÉditionNoire limited edition watch. The new watch comes with a matte black ceramic case with a diameter of 42 mm and a matte grained dial, all markings on the dial are silver-plated.
Functionally, the new watch is the same as the standard version, with a 240-degree retrograde minute display and an instantaneous hour display (6 o’clock position).
Built-in Caliber1 manual winding movement, this movement is equipped with a double barrel, which can provide up to 72 hours of power reserve. Caliber1 adopts an open structure design. Through the sapphire crystal on the stainless steel case back, you can enjoy the overlapping circular pattern created by the barrel and the wheel train. The cardless balance is equipped with an adjustable weight, which looks like a star, which is also a hallmark of Chanel.
